Magic Layouts 1.0

Magic Layouts are auto-layouts available for photo books and calendars. Magic Layouts allow you to add anywhere from 1 to 15 photos to a page of a book or calendar - the system resizes and places them in the best-fitting format for that page.

To apply a Magic Layout:

  1. Click the Page Layouts tab (on the left side of the book builder or bottom of the calendar builder).
  2. Expand the Magic Layouts section by clicking the text.
  3. Drag your preferred Magic Layout onto the blank space of a page until you see a green + sign. You can choose between thin, medium, or wide spacing in between your pictures.
You can also hover over a Magic Layout and click the Apply to all option from the dropdown to make every page of your book or calendar a Magic Layout.

To add up to 15 photos, simply drag and drop images from the Your Photos tab onto a blank area of a Magic Layout page and the system will properly arrange it for you.

You can always shuffle or drag and drop your photos to rearrange them on a Magic Layout page. Like preset layouts, you can also edit a placed photo by hovering over it and clicking the Edit button.

Note that any text captions you entered will not display when you are using a magic layout. However, if you revert back to a layout that supports text, your caption will reappear.

HELPFUL HINT: It is best to click and drag your image to the border of the page, rather than the center. This will ensure that when you drag and drop that you do not replace any images that you have already added to your page.
