In the upcoming weeks, you have the ability to pickup your photo order by going into the store, or selecting to use curbside/drive thru pickup. You will see the option for curbside/drive thru pickup when you receive your order ready email. Below are a list of frequently asked questions and answers regarding this service. Please note that this service will be slowly rolled out to all Walgreens locations, and your local store may not offer this service for several weeks.

Q: What photo orders are available for this service?
A: Any items that are available to pickup in-store are available to use this service. At this time, ship to store and in-store kiosk orders are not available for curbside or drive thru pickup. You will need to enter the store to pickup those types of orders.

Q: How do I place my order to use this service?
A: You will place your order online or through the app as you normally would. You will see an option to pickup your order curbside or through the drive thru when you receive your order ready email.

Q: How can I request curbside or drive thru pickup for my photo order?
A: You will receive an email stating that your order is ready for pickup. Within that email, you will see a banner that you can click on to utilize the service. Once you click that banner, you will be required to enter your name, email, and phone number. You will also need to enter your credit card information and then submit the order. Once the store has pulled your order, you will receive a final email letting you know that it is ready for pickup.

Q: How does the store know I have arrived to pickup my order?
A: When you receive your final email letting you know that the store has pulled your order, there will be a link at the bottom to click on that states "I'm Here". You will need to click on that link and you will be required to select where you are picking up the order (curbside or drive thru) as well as the make, model, and color of your vehicle. Once you submit that information, you will see a confirmation page that the store will be bringing your order to you.

Q: Where do I pickup my order?
A: This will depend on where you opted to pickup your order. If you selected curbside, you will park in any available parking spot at the store and the employee will bring your order out to you. If you selected drive thru pickup, you will proceed to the pharmacy drive thru window to pickup your order. Please note that if you have larger items such as posters and canvas prints that you will need to utilize curbside pickup, as the larger items will not fit through the drive thru window. If you had selected drive thru pickup and your items do not fit through the window, the store will ask that you pull around to the front of the store to pickup your item(s).

Q: Do I have to prepay for my photo order?
A: Yes, you have to prepay for your order. When you select to pickup your order via curbside or drive thru, you will be required to provide your credit card number for the transaction. Please note that your credit card will not be charged until you have picked up your order. Additionally, you will not be entering your information into the photo website, rather you will enter the information in the curbside/drive thru checkout flow.

Q: What is the difference between curbside and drive thru pickup?
A: If you select curbside, you will park in an open spot in the store's parking lot and an employee will bring the item(s) to your vehicle. If you select drive thru pickup, the store employee will bring the order to the drive thru pickup window and place the order through the slot for you to pickup.

Q: Is there a special line to use in the drive thru when I pick up order?
A: When you go to the drive thru, please be sure to enter the line that is closest to the pharmacy window. Please note that if you select this option, you will need to wait in the line that services all pharmacy patients.

Q: Can I add an alternate pickup person?
A: At this time, there isn't an option to add an alternative pickup person. But, don't worry! As long as the person picking up the order has the bar code (found in the final order ready email) they will not have any issues picking up the order.

Q: Will I receive a receipt for my purchase?
A: Yes! When the store employee brings the order to your vehicle, they will provide you with a receipt for the transaction.

Q: How do I earn Balance Rewards Points for my order?
A: In order to receive Balance Rewards points for your photo order, you must enter the phone number attached to your Balance Rewards account when you are entering your information during the curbside/drive thru pickup checkout process. Please note that if your Balance Rewards phone number does not match your current phone number, we recommend that you call customer service at 855-225-9225 to have your account updated.

Q: Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?
A: Unfortunately, you are not able to cancel a photo order once it has already been placed.

Q: What do I do if I am not satisfied with my order?
A: If you are not satisfied with your order, you may return to the store for a full refund. Refunds are only able to be completed inside of the store.

Q: I wasn't able to get to the store within 24 hours of requesting curbside/drive thru pickup for my order. What happens next?
A: Any photo orders that are not picked up will be placed in the photo departments so that you can pick them up at a later date. If you would like to utilize the curbside/drive thru feature again, you will need to locate the final order ready email and through the process again of clicking the "I'm Here" link. Or, you can go into the store to pickup your order. If you purchased retail product items, they will be placed back on the shelves. As a reminder, you are not charged for curbside/drive thru orders until you pick the items up in the store, so if you do not pickup your items within the 24 hour period, you will not be charged for your order.

Q: Can I add other items to my pickup order that aren't related to photo?
A: Yes! While you are in the checkout process for your photo order, you have the ability to add retail product items to your cart and can pick up those items when your entire order is ready for pickup.
